Folding Card Table - An All Purpose Table
There are so many uses for a folding card table that there is no wonder that so many people own one. My husband and I received this valuable item as a wedding present even though it wasn’t on our bridal gift registry. I figured that if someone went out of their way to choose a folding card table as a present, it must have some good uses.
After the honeymoon my husband and I sorted through all of the presents and starting putting things in order in our new home. We married in November so the holiday season was on our heels. We felt great pressure in making a strong impression on friends and family during the Christmas party we were planning and the folding card table was priceless.
This item was a lifesaver for the event. It packs away discreetly but it folds out in a snap to offer seating for four. The extra seating for guests was really valuable for this time of year and we would have no place to seat everyone without the handy device. Our Christmas party went off without a hitch and everyone was happy and comfortable during the meal.
I also love to use the folding card table when I have scrapbook meetings with my friends. The extra table space comes in handy while we are arranging our projects. It is also a great place to showcase new items for scrapbook enthusiasts as well. I just couldn’t imagine having a meeting without it.
This item has other uses as well. My sister uses her folding card table to show off her small Christmas tree and train set. The table sits high enough for young ones to see all of the great things in the train arrangement but it also gives the tree plenty of room as well. The presentation on the folding card table is lovely and I look forward to seeing it every year.
Another holiday that could use the help of the handy folding card table is Halloween. I make a great spooky arrangement on the table for the neighborhood children. There is a smoking cauldron and an array of eerie treats for the taking. The kids love them and they often say how much they love visiting my home on Halloween.
There are many more uses for this great item. I have seen a folding card table used when working with children one-on-one. It is a great item to keep kids concentrated on one space because you can put it anywhere including places that have no distractions.
