How do i find a road race near me?

First off, I realize that at this time of the year, road race’s will be virtually nonexistent, but I would like to look for some from April on. I’ve tried googling events, but I can’t seem to find many options. Is there a good resource anyone knows of that can help me find 5K races in my area?

I’d tell you the same thing as “runner”…and also to check your local newspaper in the sports section. Ours has a “running calendar” and even now it’s full of events. And often times you can find a “state website” that has events all across your state. I know the one for Montana is www.runmt.com… And also the sports shops and specialty running stores in your area will know the events as well.
