What is the best type of stability running shoe?

I get shin splints very badly with many types of running shoes, so I have been told that stability running shoes are best for me. What brands and styles of shoes work well for stability and preventing shin splints? Thanks!

there are many brands of shoes and i cannot recommend a certain brand to you, but if you go to your local running store they will take a look at your stride and determine what type of shoes you need, even if you don’t buy the shoes at that store.
